La Casita II (The Little House II)
La Casita II is a permanent, low-income supported housing program for formerly homeless
families who have completed La Casita’s treatment program. The facility was built through a grant from the New York State Department of Social Services/Homeless Housing Assistance Program and is sponsored by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development’s Shelter Plus Care Program.
The program currently offers rent subsidies to twelve apartments, which includes apartments for large families. Residents also participate in La Casita’s aftercare program and a variety of supportive services at UBP. Crisis intervention and other support are always available.
Eligibility: Tenants must have completed La Casita and meet low-income guidelines.
